Kind, caring and compassionate, they understood our needs and gave us the guidance that we needed during this emotional time. While we thankfully had prepared in advance, they helped to fill in all the details that we did not know or had not realized. Everything was top notch and seamless, from preparing our father to the funeral and burial. The funeral program and obituary insert was beautifully produced and high quality. Transportation for our family to and from the cemetery was first class. Communication was excellent and our family highly recommends working with them. My dad finally conquered dementia on October 29, 2022. After the stresses my mother and family endured caring for him during his decline, a funeral seemed an enormous task. We were unprepared. We knew it was coming, but we had made no arrangements. It would have been a traumatic experience, but the kind people at Asa Smith Funeral Service fully understood us. They reassured us, informed us, and guided us throughout the entire process. They were patient with us and they tolerated all the different personalities of our family members. They overcame every concern that we encountered and they prepared an utterly beautiful viewing, gave us a place to have a time of fellowship with family and friends and they carried out every detail perfectly throughout the funeral service and burial. They also prepared my dad’s body…He looked so good! He looked like he did before he became sick. I don’t know how those folks do all that they do, I just know I’m so thankful they were here for us.
