Sandy Funeral Home has handled all of our families arrangements, and has always handled everything with dignity in a loving and caring manner. Our latest interaction with them was when our newborn granddaughter was stillborn. The hardest and most difficult time of our lives, but they helped us through it, and we were able to honor and cherish her sweet little life in fitting manner. We will be forever grateful for their professional care and loving concern.

Every single family member that has passed, has a funeral here. My parents, that are still living, have their arrangements already made to also have their services here as well. I haven't been there while family has made arrangements, so I can't comment on that. What I can say, is that they are kind people. They allowed my grandmother's stylist to do her hair recently and she looked beautiful. I feel they really do take what's important to you into consideration. They really seem intuitive to our needs as we go through the process; All the kleenex we can use, opening up the extra seating area, and a guest book are things I have seen each time. If you choose to have someone sing a hymn or two, they have had a vocalist that did a beautiful job in the past. They are sure to give extra time for people to visit, they have a screen to play a slideshow as well. The building itself is a pretty old building, but not surprising for a historic city like Sandy. They have a lot of seating, in my opinion because we have a large family. I definitely think they are doing something right considering I have visited this place for almost 50 years in our worst times as a family and will be continuing to visit here in the future as well.

You couldn't ask for a more caring and compassionate staff here. Top shelf when it comes to needing their services and I can promise you will not find a better funeral home anywhere close. Being in the community for 55 years, you can 100% rely on their knowledge, service, care, and empathy when the time comes.
