I can’t say enough positive things about Cornerstone Funeral Services in general and Elizabeth Fournier in particular. When our beloved mother passed away, we were not looking forward to dealing with a funeral home. You just hear so many negative stories about this industry tying to take advantage of the bereaved at a very vulnerable time. From the very first moment that we found Elizabeth, she was so compassionate, and it was obvious to us that her main goal was to take care of our family. We needed to bury my Mother in Hawaii and so there was a lot of coordination involved, from arranging the transportation with the airlines to working with the other funeral home. Elizabeth made the entire process run smoothly and she went out of her way to find us the best fares on transportation. We also purchased our casket from Cornerstone and we were very happy with our selection and we felt that their pricing was also very reasonable. So many mortuaries nowadays are owned by private equity firms and out of state consolidators. Cornerstone is still a locally owned and family run business that serves the community very well and I will always recommend them to my family and friends.

My experience with cornerstone was nothing but amazing. My brother passed away and he was a well-known individual in the community so as you can imagine, a lot of people were contacting cornerstone for information. Elizabeth made sure everything stayed completely confidential. When I tell you, I was extremely impressed on how everything was handled how everything was taken care of. It blew me away. I’ve dealt with many other funeral homes and I have never had this level of service in my life. If I could give her 10 stars I would. This is definitely her calling And she is an outstanding individual very compassionate very heartfelt and very understanding every single time I spoke with her it was positive and professional. I appreciate you. I thank God for you and keep doing what you’re doing because it’s many people out there that are going through and they need a person like you during the most difficult time of their life, losing love.

My wife passed away recently. She wanted to be cremated and did not want a funeral service. I went online to look for cremation services a few weeks before she passed, and most links led to the same national chain. I called them and they sent me a life insurance contract to sign, and wanted payment right away. That just didn't seem right. Also, they continued to put pressure on me to sign. I had read Elizabeth Fournier's "The Green Burial Guidebook" (Elizabeth owns and operates Cornerstone) and gave her a call. She quoted me a rate that was lower than the national chain, and when I asked if she wanted me to sign anything she said to just tell the hospice staff where to take my wife's body when the time came, saying "They know me." Elizabeth took care of everything, including arranging for the death certificates. She billed me exactly what she had quoted. I hope I never have to go through this again, but if I do Cornerstone is the only place I would go. Thank you Elizabeth!
