Ellie was the nicest and truly went above and beyond for our family. My grandpa is now resting, and she was a big part of that.(:

I would like to give a special thank you to Ellie. She was professional, showed empathy, and respect to the Vela family during our time of loss for Angelina Vela. From the time we met to make arrangements all the way until we departed the cemetery; Ellie was there keeping us informed on what to do and what was going to transpire. My Uncle, who was a life-long Mission resident, passed away unexpectedly in December of 2020. His next of kin, my dad (his brother) and I are from out of Town/State which compounds the entire process of taking care of a loved ones arrangements/estate. Then top all of this with COVID-19 going on, it could have been a disaster. Kathy Brown and her staff at Ric Brown Funeral Home were beyond compassionate and helpful. The person that picked up my Uncle called to tell us that his body was being taken to Ric Brown Funeral Home and made sure we were at ease that everything would be ok. He made sure we had contact information. This happened on a Saturday night. That time frame did not matter, we called and were able to talk to a staff member that (once again) reassured us that everything was ok. They have walked us through the process and made suggestions. This is one top notch organization that I am very thankful to work with.
