I had my husband’s celebration of life service at Hiers-Baxley in Belleview on 5/11/24. We had pre-arranged our plans with Kimberly a couple of years ago. When my husband passed, the Funeral Director, Steve, helped me (along with my daughter and son) plan the service in detail including contacting the local VFW to do a military tribute since my husband was in the Navy. They also picked him up from the hospital and covered him with a flag body bag which was honorably done, and I know he would have been proud, as I was. The driver was amazing and helped comfort me on that day. Paul helped us the night of the celebration and was very personable along with other staff. Rita assisted me with paperwork and other tedious issues from the “paperwork” side. Steve contacted the FL National Cemetery and my husband was interred on 5/22/24, with a Navy salute and a beautiful resting place. Thank you all so very much. It was perfect.
