For people that see this: yes it's ME, yes I'm talking about UF. Do not use this funeral home if you care about the appearances of your loved ones. My uncle passed away after a HARD FOUGHT battle with cancer and while sickness does leave a mark on the person physically, GMChapel DID NOT make any attempt to brighten his appearance. It is very disrespectful to the family to have paid a lot of money and then see your loved one in a poorer condition than when he was picked up. I'm shocked, disgusted and just furious.

I witnessed a sad event at Marshall Memorial Sunday, February 24, 2019. A person paid for a service years in advance, but were denied the service due to the lack of respect and incompetence of the owners of Marshall Memorial. The intended grave was flooded at the time of the service, only one person was working to resolve the problem. The problem could not be resolved, the family did not have the service they paid for. The cemetery is unkept and in disarray. Additionally, if you purchase a prepaid funeral with this establishment be advised, it may not be honored. Do not expect to be treated with dignity and respect.
