On Oct 7, 2024, 2 yrs after my mother's funeral, the date of death marker was placed on her gravestone. Completed at last! Thank you for reaching out to me by phone today & assurance that issue is being resolved. Standing by. I called Woodbine/Hickory Chapel last week to tell them about this review & the last email of 8/7/23. No response. No resolution. My mom's funeral was almost 2 yrs ago & it was handled very well by Hickory Chapel just like my father's a few yrs before. But for more than a yr my family has been trying to get the Date of Death plate attached to my mother's gravestone. Emails go unanswered & this final small step remains undone. Hickory Chapel staff were very accommodating, compassionate, and professional. David is the absolute best and he was meant for this tough role. He was there for us and assisted us in everything he could, which eased the stress on us during the most difficult time of our lives. Could not ask for our experience to be any better.

Hickory Chapel was great as we dealt with the loss of our 19 year old son. They really do want to minister to families in a time of need. What a blessing they are to the community.
