The owner and staff of Woodbine are nice, respectful and professional. They did a good job preparing my mother's body. However, they have grown considerably and are not meeting the needs of the clients. I don't think they are delegating enough, because no one can help me except the funeral director himself. My mother was buried on February 24th, and I didn't get death certificates until the end of March. I was told that they had a lot of funerals and that the state database had changed, putting them behind. I had people ask why it took me so long to get them. Okay, I understand; it's all good. But, now I've been waiting since the end of March to get a headstone ordered; it's April 26th, and I still haven't received the promised (by the end of the week) e-mail to approve the mock-up. A burial on the same day in the same graveyard had a headstone in the ground on April 2nd. If you're okay letting the final affairs of your loved one linger on seemingly forever, then they're great.

My husband passed in 2006. It was my first experience at handling Final Arrangements. I was in such a state of mind that I can't begin to describe to you, only people who have had to do it knows the feeling. I was so numb but bless my stepdaughter who offered to take me and help in making decisions. The staff was so kind and patient. My only negative comment has to do with the hours for visitation and the cost, also arrangements for the funeral procession and the cost per mile to the cemetery and the cost pet number of escorts. I have to say everyone was so helpfull considerate and kind.
