When my son passed away earlier this year I contacted New Generation. He passed away around 2am and I made a call to them around 4am. I received a call back from Tonya within 30 minutes and from there she took care of everything. She took me step by step of what I should expect to happen. Tonya and her staff were amazing. They made me feel like family and took care of my son. When you are dealing with the grief of losing your loved one. Your mind is not at it's best, they understand this and they are prepared, this is what they do and their service is exceptional. Where do I begin? First this funeral home serves with nothing but dignity and class. My Family was in a uproar over the passing of my loved, but they handled that and laid him to rest as only New Generation Could. Then 3months later I had another loved one pass with no insurance, my family was on a tight budget, but the way they handled it as if we was with 20k. Then After this, the after care. They call to check on my family, ask if we need anything, still here to help us anyway they can. Billing issues, Insurance when I say Octiva handles that and knows the law. The receptionist her name is slipping my mind, but is she doesn’t have the answer she will get it for you. Then Tonya! The things this lady has seen and done for the community! One thing I do know is no matter what, What happens in her office stays in her office. The way the yentire staff takes that burden off you is AMAZING! I will never use another funeral home. Even convinced the rest of my family to use these people. When they say a new level of elegance they really mean it. No matter the budget. If you don’t go here, that’s on you.
