Carol was so kind, friendly, and helpful to me while waiting for my initial appointment. She also quickly facilitated everything else I needed. Jim was great! He was so easy to work with and was patient and kind with me and wonderfully professional. He took lots of time to explain the options and left all information on the table and was honest about what made the most sense financially in our situation. I am so grateful for them during this trying and sad time.

Most of our experience with White Funeral Home was positive. They did a nice job with the actual services aside from a few minor problems. My biggest problem with them, in particular, was with John P. White and his deceitful business practices. We arranged for a preneed contract with them 2 years prior to services being needed. Mr. White illegally tried to charge me an additional $200+ for the current inflated price of goods instead of the pre-need price of goods. I refused to pay knowing this was illegal. When I questioned him about this amount he raised his voice at me, angrily shouted at me, then threatened me saying that he has lots of lawyers that will come back to me and tell me he is right. White Funeral Home only changed my statement to a $0 balance due after I put in a claim to the Mortuary Science Section of the MN Dept of Health. The MN Dept of Health provided a lengthy and thorough investigation proving I was correct that they should not have tried to charge me additional money for the inflation costs of goods.

When my mother passed away in late September, I was in the process of training for my third deployment. It was a shock and something that I knew needed to be handled with professionalism, and this is why I chose the White Funeral Home. This was the location for the cremation services for my Grandfather and also for his wife, both services were very well managed, so the choice was clear to me. From the moment I stepped into the funeral home and was greeted by their receptionist, I was greeted with great care and comfort. I had informed them of my timeline of only being home for a week, then had to return to complete my training and then leave this country. We selected the best day we could with the limited time that I had and never once did they make it seem as if I was making them change their timeline for me. I was taken back with how responsive their entire staff was, I have never experienced such professionalism, and I am thankful for choosing the White Funeral Home. Even when some minor issues came about from family disagreements, the staff was there to assist in making things as smooth as possible and even making sure nothing got in the way of making the services happen when I needed them to happen.
