Our experience with staff at Ward Van Slyke was more than exemplary, we were with family. They made us feel like family, we were comfortable sharing with them and trusted they were focused on us. They have reached out with concern and care even after our services ended. Highly recommend them.

We used Ward-Van Slyke for my father recently. We were treated with compassion through everything from preplanning to his cremation. After my father died at our home, the people who came for him treated him with the utmost respect. My siblings live in PA and CA and could not be here at my father’s death. I asked if someone would take pictures of my father for them (before his cremation). They put dad in his suit and took about a dozen pictures for me. Those pictures meant so much to our family. I have nothing but praises to pass along about the treatment, compassion, and respect that my family was shown. We are so grateful to Ward-Van Slyke for their care. We were not expecting to have to write another review so soon. But, once again we had to use Ward Van Slyke’s services. We did have trouble getting hold of anyone when my mother passed away. It took about an hour of calling before the phone was answered. I found out later they were having phone issues. But, other than that, once again the services my family received were excellent. I dealt with completely different people than the last time. These people were just as kind and compassionate as those before them. Everything was handled professionally and with the family in mind. From pick up through burial Ward Van Slyke was there for us. We count ourselves fortunate to have such a caring funeral home in town.
