The staff at Sheckler Colonial Chapel & Crematory did an excellent job! Chloe is an excellent example of someone who helps make a devastating situation into one that is filled with care, compassion & truly makes you feel relaxed & calmer and so your able to deal with the death of a loved one. We were able to meet with her at a time that was convenient for us. She helped walk me through the entire process and what I should expect next. She went above and beyond from start to finish. From coming in on her day off to delivering all the plants/flowers at the celebration of life, creating an amazing slide show of pictures, with the perfect music. She was so nice to even give me her cell phone number so if I needed anything she encouraged me to call. Now that is Customer Service!! Dana also put some extra special touches on the display photos that we used for the celebration of life. Yet another special touch that these ladies did for me. It was so nice. During the most difficult time in our life Sheckler Colonial Chapel came through for us far more than I ever could have expected. A few days before my father’s passing, I had called around to a few funeral homes in the area. Sheckler Colonial Chapel were first to pass on their sympathies that we were in the situation we were in. They laid out the costs and what all went with those costs and then followed up with an email laying out all the information for us, and also were about $1,000 cheaper than anywhere else I had called and included everything we needed. After he passed, every second after that, was made a bit easier with the decision to use this funeral home. The men who came to our house to get our father were so kind, caring, and compassionate. They set us up with an appointment the next morning. They handled everything with so much respect and care for our father and our family. The next morning, we met with Megan and Paige. They are sent here straight from heaven. We had some specific wants that they went to great heights to ensure they were met. Megan shared her cell phone number with us and was so quick to respond always. She was even out of town for the weekend, which I did not know, and was so helpful for every single thing we needed. They set up the funeral home so nicely with all of the flowers and then went to great lengths to ensure we had everything we needed. Dana is the graphic designer for the funeral home. Dana is a very creative mind and did a wonderful job on the folders. She made all the details pop and also was so helpful with all of our crazy ideas. We went through a few edits and she worked through them all until they were perfect. Baker Floral is the florist that Sheckler Colonial Chapel work with and they were AMAZING. We had 2 very special pieces that we had quite the crazy vision for and they nailed it. They absolutely knocked it out of the park. The attention to detail was beyond what was expected. I am still so impressed with how they took my vision and made it come alive. Our family will never be able to thank Sheckler Colonial Chapel enough. Our father was a very unique man and they made every tiny detail of the service shine that uniqueness. We have lots of out of town family who were unable to attend and Sheckler Colonial Chapel helped us to share some of the special things with them by printing us what we needed.
