Urbanski Funeral Home rocks!!! The staff is very compassionate and offer outstanding services. Don is a Diamond in the rough and they treat you like family. I wish they offer their services in the DMV area. I would recommend them to families that are located in the Toledo, Ohio area. Keep up the good work!!! Let me start off by saying I didn’t want to make this review. In the past these people have been extremely nice and well organized until the last year it seems like. My grandfather recently passed away and had everything set up with these guys for years sense they have done multiple other people from our family. When my grandpa passed away it was nearly a month before they could get us in for a funeral (not sure if that was just booked or unorganized). When they day came for the funeral the staff was rude and even had smart comments to make when we were asking questions. My step sister had ordered her own keep sake and another for someone else and she told them when we were there setting everything up. Well the day came and they didn’t have any ashes set aside. THE STAFF MEMBER SAID TO OPEN MY KEEP SAKE TO TAKE ASHES OUT TO GIVE TO HER AND FOR THE OTHER PERSON. We told them no and they ended up opening up the box and the guy put just enough in the bag to fill a water bottle cap. When the funeral was over we were rushed out. I know they have set schedules but no one should feel like they’re being rushed out of a funeral. Finally a week later we go to the burial and Jordan mentions to us the engraving for the stone isn’t paid for but he said he would cover it out of his own pocket. This doesn’t make sense because everything was paid for and some things weren’t even done that were paid for so obviously money was left over. A few weeks went by and I asked and he said he’ll have to check into the policy. Huh? You said you’d cover it regardless ? But it was paid for long ago. It’s now been 4 months and still have no engraving on the stone. I hate having to make this review but it’s unprofessional and unorganized.
