When my wife Judy passed away, our children and I needed to make arrangements for visiting hours and a funeral. With so many things to think about (when, where, flowers, casket, burial, obituary, etc), we decided to go to 'The Fortin Group' due to prior experience and family suggestion. The folks at Fortin made things so much easier than years ago. We were able meet with them and they showed us a number of options. We chose to make arrangements that I know my wife would have approved of. She was not an extravagant person, but we wanted to make all things to seem right. At times like this, it is hard to concentrate on what needs to be done. The Fortin Group took care of everything, and they were very professional, kind, and courteous. With just one meeting and some work on our part to complete a draft obituary and gather pictures to display during her 'Celebration of Life' visiting hours. They coordinated a private family hour, a public viewing, and the Funeral service at our church of choice. This made it so much easier for my family. Judy loved the ocean, so all was set up with that as the theme. The slide show video using many pictures we put gathered and uploaded to their site was fantastic. Visiting hours went well, and we never felt pressured to move things along. Thank you, Fortin Group team.

In the past 6 months I have lost 3 loved ones. I’m so grateful that my family had the support from Fortin’s Group. They went out of there way to support my family in this time of need. Jordawn made each service special and went out of her way to make sure everything looked amazing and was handled so my family would not have to worry about anything. They were so caring and supportive. It’s nice to have people who actually care in your time of need. Also David and Clayton thank you for all your help. I highly recommend this funeral home. The service is above everyone else. When I was at my worst they were very professional, showed empathy and worked with me on all of my requests. Every employee I came in contact with throughout the entire process was professional and respectful. After the meeting for arrangements I literally did not have to worry about anything they had everything taken care of including contacting the church. In a world where customer service lacks Fortin Funeral has not lost their customer service skills. They are available 24 hours and their response time was fast. I have had services at both the Auburn and Lewiston locations and they are both in sync with everything and no changes between the service at either location.
