T. Carrillo Funeral Service was phenomenal. In 2018 my mother passed away and I was devastated. Planning her funeral was one of the hardest things I have had to do in my life.  I was so glad to have the Carrillo family there to not only guide me through the process but to present my mother with a fabulous going home service.  Even to this day, I have friends and coworkers who still talk about how wonderful her service was. They helped me through each of the steps. Their prices were more than affordable. Their knowledge and expertise were second to none.  I truly understand why they have had so many clients. When one of your loved ones passes away, you want to have the best. That is what they are, and it shows in their work.  When you have your home going service for them, they will treat you like you are family and remain totally professional. D. Brown

My nephew passed away suddenly this past Thanksgiving and I had to help my sister in these tough times to find a funeral home and final resting place for him. I live in California and the next day I started calling places from here. I contacted T. Carrillo Funeral Services and I was transferred immediately to Mrs. Carrillo. Immediately I felt her compassion and willingness to help. We have never had to deal with having to take care of funeral affairs and she completely took this burden off of us. She met with my sister on that Saturday without an appointment and was more than willing to explained everything she had shared with me over email , in person to her. Her reassurances and clear communication made us feel like it was the right choice for us. She was available for us to ask questions at all times. She learned my nephews interest, his personality and soaked in every detail we shared with her. Her compassion and understanding with my sister and our family was top notch. On the day of the funeral service we were overwhelmed by the amazing work put together by Mrs. and Mr. Carrillo as well as the T. Carrillo team. To say that they thought of EVERYTHING, is an understatement. Everyone who came was in awe, no one had ever attended a funeral service with so much details that captured the life of my nephew. The family gathering at the cemetery before cremation was super special and all of the details thought out made this hard and grieving time for us a bit more bearable. Thank you for everything you did for us and for Jeremy. I told you this before and I’ll say it again, you are doing the work of God and not once did we feel like a business transaction. Your exceeded our expectations and made everything beautiful and worthy of my nephew.

Although I have never used this establishment for any family members, I must say the service I attended yesterday was exceptionally done. Who knew about this place? I mean it didn't have that musty funeral parlor odor. It didn't feel creepy. The waiting area looks like a living room!!!! Lol. They have doves. The bathrooms were clean with soap and paper towel. Not looking to bury anyone soon. But life happens. If need be I'd definitely utilize their services. Oh and the owner went to my old High School-Walton in the good old boogie down Bronx. ☺️ Come to find out they mentored under the man (Mr Gibson RIP) who did my son's funeral in 2020. Mr Gibson understood the "art" of commandeering a funeral. He made sure the price(s) were reasonable; and set up the service if you had no home church. People from the hood really depended on him because of that and then some. I guess what I'm saying is I trusted him and I don't trust many. If this brother (Mr. Carillo) mentored under a Master Mortician and is living up to his mentors standards take a chance and utilize his family's establishment.
