Our family was so blessed with the care & sensitivity of the Sykes staff. From taking a call at 4:17 am and Amy calling back in 15 mins, to driving out of state to bring my father home, to allowing us complete liberty to honor our father as he would have loved with laughter, song & tears, they were completely at our service. Back in 2008 the Sykes family handled our Moms Celebration of Life. They also took care of our Dads Celebration of Life this past October. Even in the hardest times, with a flood of emotions running through us, Stewart and Presley comforted us and handled every little detail with grace and compassion. They went on this journey of loss with our family the entire way and we couldn’t be more thankful. They have become part of our family over the years and will always be our place to go in our times of loss. Their services don’t end with death, they create a growing relationship. There were several times that the funeral home reached out to us directly to invite our family to memorial style dinners, Veteran-honoring events, and just to check in with us.
