The Best Experience During the Most Difficult Time I have made more than a few funeral arrangements for family members from baby grandsons to parents in different states. Now I’ve had to make arrangements for my precious husband. My best friend in life and eternally. The people at Sullivan Funeral Care made this the best experience I have ever had because of their kindness, patience with my Granddaughter and me, and their genuine personalities. Their professionalism shown through perfectionism, and being right there even though I felt like I changed my mind a hundred times. Never once felt hurried or as if I was interfering if there were other families there dealing with the same feelings I was trying to manage. These people are not simply doing their jobs, this is their calling, just as I believe preachers are called to preach, hospice nurses are called to be hospice caregivers, military men and women are called to serve. By the way, have you really shopped around? I did and I can tell you Sullivan was the best price anywhere for the services I wanted for my husband. Now is not the time to throw money around, especially when you are left to raise a child or left alone. As soon as I get through this sorrowful time I am headed right back to Sullivan Funeral Care to make my own arrangements so my two children aren’t hit with something Mom could go ahead and take off their plates. Once you pay, there is no price adjustment and, like everything else, prices only go up from here. Oh, and have you seen this funeral home? It is absolutely beautiful! Please do not take your loved ones here. The owner is extremely unprofessional and rude. He yelled at my family the first time they met. We had the hardest time with this funeral home, from meetings to insurance to having incorrect information on the obituary. Some of the staff such as the secretary was helpful, but Mark Sullivan was extremely inconsiderate towards my family. I never would have thought that when grieving a loved one that this is something we would have to deal with, but we did. Please, do not take your loved ones here. The owner, Mark Sullivan, is not someone you want your loved ones to be taken care of by.

A man who runs a business about providing CARE for those who are in need, should not yell at customers who had just lost a close family member. You would expect a funeral home to be a warm and comforting environment, but as soon as Mark Sullivan walks in, the place turns cold and harsh. You don’t have to be in his presence for more than five minutes to know that he truly doesn’t care about your passed loved one. I hope you realize what you have done to these families that you have fought with. These services are cheap, but sadly Mark himself is cheaper.
