Tyler went above & beyond to make sure my grandma was properly taken care of and that we weren't put through unnecessary stress. Not knowing to area I chose another funeral home to begin with & wound up beyond livid with them & their lack of service. Tyler went & got my grandma from the funeral home the same day I requested that he do so & had her taken care of by the next morning & kept me up to date every step of the way. If I ever have to choose a funeral home in that area again I will choose Powell every single time. I honestly can't say enough good words about how utterly amazing they are.

Allen Taylor is 100% the most caring man to handle someone’s funeral plans. The last two weeks have been the most difficult for my family after losing my mom. Allen made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and took care of us 24/7 through the entire process. I’m very thankful for how generous and sweet he was.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They allowed someone who was NOT a member of the family to make changes to the service and picture collage without notifying his next of kin (his own children) even after we told them not to. They also gave the guest book and DVD copy to this same person instead of giving it to his own children. It was an absolute nightmare to deal with and we will never be able to have another service for our father. To be excluded and ignored in the planning of your own father’s funeral is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Not what we wanted. Not what we paid for. They also had no explanation for any of this. No respect for the families wishes. They didn’t even bring in my father’s ashes to the service and left them in their van and were attempting to give them to the same unauthorized individual that they allowed to make unapproved changes to the service until we intervened. Horrible experience!!
