Ernie and the staff at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services we wonderful when my dad died. He helped my mom and I with every detail and was very caring and thoughtful and managed to provide everything we wanted and needed to make my dad’s memorial service perfect . He answered my texts and got back to me immediately when I had a concern or question. I would highly recommend Ernie and his staff. They were great!!

My wife and I live states away from our daughter, when she suddenly passed away. We searched for a Funeral Home to help us and called Steel & Wolfe. Ernie answered our call and was amazing. He took care of everything through phone calls and text messages. When we arrived, Ernie was waiting for us. He had taked care of all the arrangements so we could focus on our daughter.

Our family experience here was very poor . Steel and Wolfe somehow messed up the Obituary Time Date and location so this caused much added unwelcome confusion amongst the family. The young man they sent to be the door greater was a mute never said a word to anyone or gave them any info about signing the book etc.. They offered a nice gesture and sent over 8ish bottles of their own water with their label on them and a handful of hard tack candy like i said nice gesture but we had over 50 people attending so i ended up simply just hiding the waters and candys since everyone wasn't welcome to have their own. Ended up being charged for a Veterans Flag even though they are free from Arlington National Cemetery to Veterans when they pass away. Also took over a month to receive death certificates. The guys who work here have great attitudes and seem like truly good people it just seemed that in our case the Very Important details fell straight through the cracks and as we all can agree in a time of emotional turmoil everything needs to be perfect perfect
