Singing Hills Funeral Home opened in 1974 on the east end of Laurel Land Cemetery-Dallas. The lovely funeral home has a family room that seats 45 guests, and four visitation rooms that can also be combined to form two adjoining rooms for double-service viewing. The newly renovated chapel seats up to 350 guests, and features a beautiful mural that depicts the opening of the heavens. In addition to the beautiful crystal chandelier that hangs from the ceiling, sconces and wall-to-wall chandeliers adorn the chapel walls. Outside, you will see a fleet of the finest in automobiles. An on-location floral shop is also available, making Singing Hills a truly convenient choice. Members of the Singing Hills Funeral Home staff are firm believers in the community and share a special calling to help those in need. It is no wonder why so many families turn to them during their times of sorrow. Singing Hills is proud of its African-American heritage and of its reputation of providing personalized attention and exceptional care. At Singing Hills Funeral Home, we believe that every life is unique. Every funeral should be too. We are a proud member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, offering quality, compassionate care and service you can trust.

The staff and Singing Hills Funeral Home helped make one of the most challenging times in my family's life bearable. They treated us with kindness and compassion, giving us a gentle respite from our grief. The team was exceptional! They were thoughtful, informative, helpful, and went above standard customer care to provide us best-in-class service. Christopher L. Jordan was the director who shepherded us through the process, ensuring we were aware of the program and the online memory book deadlines, helped us understand our package options, and coordinated with the cemetery. Mr. Jordan helped to troubleshoot issues expertly and was an absolute joy to work with! He made us laugh and smile during one of the most challenging days of funeral planning, lifting my and my sister's spirits. Also, Tarsha B. Goodwin helped to keep the funeral service on track and organized. George Lewis graciously helped us solve an issue relating to the service location, which was perfect and made my mother's funeral special. We also received exceptional service from Mel Davis, Frank Craig, Marvin Wilson, Tiffany Watson, and Maria Singleton. We are incredibly grateful to the staff for the compassion, support, and service they provided us and for how well they prepared our mother for her services. She was beautiful, and we were able to give her a proper service and burial because of the wonderful staff. Whenever we need funeral services again, we will, without hesitation, contact Singing Hills Funeral Home.

Brian Nickerson and the team at Singing Hills were absolutely phenomenal. From the first time Brian met my family and our beloved Nana, he was very attentive to what Nana told him. Brian carried out her wishes. She looked so beautiful. Brian took good care of our family. Everyone who served on the day of Willie Mae Jackson services were remarkable. The entire Jackson family thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. The excellency that everything was done well definitely be a memorable one.
