I was not prepared to face the daunting task of making final arrangements following the death of my husband, Mitch. I was urged by the Veterans hospital to make a decision quickly, which overwhelmed me even more. Ironically sad, this extremely difficult, important decision was regarding the very person I always turned to for advice for more than two decades. I was bewildered, lost and alone on this one. I perused the many advertisements for funeral services online and looked at several brochures and business cards given to me by the hospital. Already close to feeling as though I could not mentally process more, I shuffled all the information in front of me, and figuratively speaking, closed my eyes and blindly pointed my finger and made my choice. First call, recorded message. I blindly chose another funeral service provider. Second call, recorded message. Onto a different choice. The third time was certainly a charm because my experience with Signature Funerals has been remarkably warm and thorough. I am so thankful no one answered at the first two businesses! Avery was supportive, helpful and always available when I had questions. Anything I needed, she went out of her way to accommodate, even making last minute changes. She truly exceeded any customer service standard I may have had in my mind. Every aspect I experienced of this business was first rate and done well. Although I did not use their venue, it is cheerful and warm, not gloomy like many places I have been for funeral services. I am posting this in hopes that my feed back will help others make a confident decision during this overwhelming and sad time and not have to experience the fear and uncertainty who to trust their loved one with.
