Giving a 2 star review because they started the burial for my late cousin's service 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled, published time causing several out of town family members to miss the main part of the ceremony. when my sister saw me walking up she said "it's over, we missed it", I couldn't believe it. everyone was there by the scheduled time of 10 am why start a service 30 minutes earlier without letting people know the day before? I spoke with the person who performed the ceremony after the service and let her know how hurt we were. she informed me that she was following the instructions of the funeral director and did not make the decision, at which point I told her that I didn't hold her responsible and would direct my criticism to the business. I don't care if everyone is present but a person, you don't start early. start on time.

I throughly appreciated the professionalism and the kindness that the Staff at Serenity has shown our family during the passing of Aunt Deborah Beavers. The customer service during this time was spectacular and I highly recommend for you to entrust your family celebration of life with them. They were extremely accommodating and patient with us during our time of bereavement. A special thanks to Ms Thomas and the entire directory staff for their kindness during this difficult time.

Joshua, Benez, Tiff, Vonda, Torian, and the entire Serenity Funeral Home family made the hardest day of my life so much easier. Planning the final arrangements for my mother, Deborah Hester Beavers, was not easy from 1,000 miles away, but Joshua made the process seamless. He was very attentive and made sure my requests were carried out. He even notified me with the status of my mother's arrival flight to Memphis on his day off! Benez, Vonda, Tiff, and Torian did not miss a beat. Upon my arrival, they made sure everything was to my satisfaction. They took very good care of my mother and made sure she looked her best for her memorial. The attention to detail, professionalism, words of comfort, and warm hugs got me through the most difficult time in my life. I also received a nice call from Sen. Ford to extend his condolences. As I am still grieving my mother, I cannot express how much I appreciate each of them and I will never forget how they made me and my family feel during this difficult time.
