I can't say enough about the exceptional service we received from Kacey and staff at Schertz Funeral Home & Crematory. From start to finish, they provided top-notch care that truly went above and beyond. While they may be a bit more expensive than others, the QUALITY of service they delivered was worth every penny. We had some very specific requests, things that were well outside the norm, but due to the rapid pace of events for us, the Director and Assistant Director made it happen seamlessly. They treated us like we were their only clients, and that personalized attention made all the difference. It felt like we were family. Because of an extended stay due to military arrangements, we got to know the entire team by name, and every single staff member embodied the same level of outstanding customer service. The police escorts directed our trip to Fort Sam Houston Cemetary was coordinated flawlessly—it was truly impressive to see. As I write this, I’m still in awe of their dedication and care. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and as someone who is very particular, that means a lot. I dont give reviews like this often. They were absolutely wonderful to work with when my mother passed unexpectedly. Especially since I live out of state. They worked with myself and my husband over the phone, utilizing e-mail to get all of the necessary paperwork pushed through in an effort to give my mother the best ceremony we wanted for her. They were exceedingly patient and kind through the whole process! They double and triple checked to make sure we were getting everything we expected from the service they offered. All in all I could not have been more relieved, and happy, to work with such an understanding and caring staff during such a painful time for my family.

Schertz Funeral Home was absolutely amazing. Every single person there was so pleasant, helpful, and understanding. It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a place with that great of customer service.
