Where to begin. Everything started out great, the pricing was better than others. Communication has been lacking ever since they picked up my mother’s body. Any questions I had would take days going unanswered. Then they sealed my mother’s urn with some sort of glue or adhesive. They claimed they did not but the residue on it doesn’t lie. When I called them about it, Shamus told me to come in anytime Monday through Friday before 4 and they would open it. I showed up after leaving work early and driving another hour to their facility. I arrived at 3:22pm, the office was closed. When I called the answering service because that is the only number to call, I was told they would be notified. 25 minutes later and I called again, I had to wait another 5-10 minutes for a call back and was given another address to go to. They FINALLY got the urn open, still claiming they didn’t seal it. I opened the urn before I brought it to them, there was no adhesive or anything on it at all. They are the only ones who handled it. I would NEVER recommend them based off the service I got but if you can’t afford 5-10k at another place then I would go to them. Be prepared. They couldn’t even own up to it which is beyond irritating. Thank you Shamus!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Advantage and specifically Dwayne who was our main contact. They were so responsive, so easy to work with, provided such a genuine level of sympathy and were so patient with my questions. Being 7 months pregnant and mourning the loss of my Father and never having to go through this process before I went into it feeling extremely overwhelmed. Once I started working with Advantage and Dwayne that feeling started to subside as they made the process so easy for me and provided support every step of the way. I especially appreciated Dwayne’s acknowledgment and appreciation he showed for my Father’s service and veteran status. Dwayne made me feel like he was not just a transaction but a human being who had loved ones and held accomplishments. I can’t thank Advantage enough for everything they did for myself and my family.

Constant phone tag and emails. Recovery of ashes took way too long. Would be better business to have had a meeting in person to discuss cremation and urn choices etc. At times it was felt that priorities were taken lightly or impersonal.
