Just so you know… Salas brothers does not allow you to pre-pay… In other words, they capitalize off your grieve at the time of you or your loved ones death… Rather than allowing people to save money by planning ahead… They do it at the current cost of when you die. Shame on Salas.

Took care of my mom's arrangements. Salas did a great job very caring towards us. My mom looked beautiful, did a great job on that too.Owner was very nice and caring and Nancy helped us alot. Very grateful my mom picked Salas. Never had a problem with them at all. Their viewing rooms are very big and nice. Overall comfort here during our sad time. So thank you Salas. Definitely recommend Salas.

Please do not consider this place an option. Jon, although I only spoke to you once, your customer service was good and you were able to track down where my mom was at and what was going on. However, Nancy is not trauma informed at all. Since after you were able to reach her she called me in crisis mode. Nancy, she was in crisis mode telling me that the reason I was not given a call the day after my mom had been picked up was because she was stressing out over paperwork. I had to interrupt her rant about this so called paperwork and question her on the policy itself. She then tried to apologize and stated that it is NOT common practice to call families after picking up the body of their loved one because sometimes families get really upset and they don't want to be bothered. This is absolutely ridiculous, as I believe any family member would want a courtesy call letting them know that their loved one has been picked up and is now in good care. Nancy, has horrible people skills and is not trauma informed whatsoever. Throughout the whole process my mom was called a "he" and an "it" and it was heartbreaking. I believe Nancy works from home and doesn't have bad intentions but she needs training. Jon, if you want to save your business you really need to start looking into training or obtaining the right people to manage your business. Not only are they not trauma informed, but I don't even think they take the time to look at the file as to who they are caring for. It's a funeral home, and you meet people at their worst. The last thing they want to do is deal with a funeral home and staff that is so careless. I have no words to describe how much harder you made this for me.
