My wife passed away after a fairly short illness. I was in Rochester with her for a few months and was not here to be able to start any funeral arrangements. My sister-in-law who lives in Florida called Perna and was dealing with Connie Perna. My sister-in-law knows nothing about Buffalo funeral homes Buffalo cemeteries or anything like that, dealing with Connie, She handled everything long distance from picking my wife up from the Rochester Hospital getting her to Buffalo, through the cremation, through the cemetery arrangements and just everything! I got involved, of course, with the finalities of what everything’s going to look like and all that, but I didn’t have to do a thing as far as arranging anything. Connie and my sister-in-law handled everything perfectly. I can’t begin to tell you what a relief it was. My family has been dealing with Connie for as long as I can remember they are so professional so compassionate. Connie was there for me anytime I needed her from nine in the morning till 10 at night. She helped me through everything that I don’t know what I would’ve done without her! We had people from out of town. We had people that have never seen a Buffalo funeral or wake before people who have wakes before at somewhere else they just could not believe how beautiful everything was! Connie has continued to follow up with me afterwards making sure I was OK and that everything was to my liking as far as how the cemetery is doing even. It was a very horrible time for me. My brain wasn’t working at all, but she guided us through everything! Thank you to Connie Perna and the whole staff there at Perna!

My recent experience with Perna, Dengler and Roberts Funeral Home could not have been better. Kelly Martin met with me right after my mother’s death in January and followed closely with me every step of the way , providing guidance and compassion and perfect recommendations for every detail . It all culminated in a beautiful and very personal graveside service in June . She took care of every arrangement from newspaper notices, cemetery provisions , bagpiper , chaplain , and military honors for my Mom and more . During a sad and difficult time , I am most grateful !

My father passed away when I was out of town. Mark Janik made all the arrangements and emailed me or called every step of the way until the service. The building is beautiful and comfortable to be inside of. Everything was perfect and Mark is a true professional so I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
