We were referred to North Dallas Funeral Home by our Priest Father Bradley for my Uncle’s Funeral. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day. This was my first time planning a Funeral and had no idea what do to. Wayne helped my Aunt and I to plan her husband’s Funeral he broke everything down to us and made sure we understood and were comfortable with every detail. I thought once the appointment was done we would never see Wayne again but he was there with us during the Viewing, Church and Burial he organized everything checked on us often he was very compassionate and empathetic. The day after the Burial Wayne called us to check on us and asked if we had any questions or needed any help. I cannot thank Wayne and North Dallas Funeral Home enough to help us get through this difficult time.

My family and I are sadly feeling the sting of death with the loss of my father. Though our hearts are heavy with sadness, at least North Dallas Funeral Home made the funeral process pain and hassle free. Wayne was super kind, professional, personable and sweet. We didn’t get a chance to drop off the USB with my father’s slideshow in time, so we feared the slideshow and music not being shown/played for my dad’s viewing. But Wayne made it possible and we are forever grateful for his efforts in making sure the slideshow played! Thank you Wayne and everyone at North Dallas Funeral home!!!

Calvary Hill Funeral Home

3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220

Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery was built on a foundation of faith, dignity and tradition. Calvary Hill Cemetery, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane in Northwest Dallas, was established in 1926 by Bishop Joseph Patrick Lynch when it became apparent that Calvary Cemetery (on Hall St.) was no longer adequate to serve the needs of the growing Catholic community in Dallas. The new cemetery, which includes the original Letot family cemetery, was dedicated on All Souls Day in 1929. When Calvary Hill Cemetery opened, a Priests' Circle was established for the interment of members of the clergy and many were relocated from Old Calvary. In 1966, the first of several mausoleums was dedicated by Bishop Thomas K. Gorman, including a chapel for committal services and reflection. In 2009, the remains of former Bishops of Dallas were entombed in the chapel. In 1998, the Diocese contracted with Christian Funeral Services, Inc., an affiliate of Service Corporation International, to operate this cemetery (and the other thee diocesan cemeteries) for the Diocese. In 2002, Calvary Hill Funeral Home was built adjacent to the cemetery. The facility features four staterooms, a hospitality room, a comfortable chapel that will seat 150 people and cemetery offices.
