I cannot thank the kind, caring, and capable staff at Nie Family Funeral Home (Liberty Rd. Chapel) enough for helping us through an experience that we were unprepared to manage, emotionally or logistically. We came in devastated and unaware of all the detailed decisions we needed to make, but the staff was comforting and put us at our ease as much as possible as they gently lead us through the decision process. We never felt pressured or rushed. We felt that explanations of the things that needed to be accomplished - and things that were optional - were given clearly, taking the time to answer our numerous questions. We knew what various options meant, and what they would cost, before we made our decisions. All the while, we felt treated with compassion, respect, and understanding. They were open to our wishes for a simple, perhaps unconventional memorial celebration. Some of our friends and family commented that it was the nicest event of that nature they'd ever attended. The facilities and decor are pleasant. There is a nice area in the back where we could refresh ourselves as neeeded during the visitation. Among the outstanding staff who helped us were Lisa, Monica, and Michelle, but there were others whose names I unfortunately cannot recall who were just as gracious and helpful; all the staff were great. We were very grateful.

Beautiful place with thoughtful amenities. The staff were kind and explained the process clearly from one step to the next. The deceased had elected his arrangements a year before his passing and the execution was seamless. They were patient with our process and did a good job at respecting the body all the way through including the mechanics of lowering the body in the ground. We couldn't have asked for better in a time like this. Thank you.

We found the staff at Nie to be very friendly, sympathetic and easy to work with. Our only complaint was that we had to transport the flower arrangements from Nie to the church. This had not been our previous experience with Nie and would have been very difficult if we didn’t have a van and suv.
