I would highly recommend Nelson Funeral Home if you don't know where to go or who to turn to for your loved ones' last wishes.  The funeral director Miles is amazing... he not only looks after the departed but also the living as he navigates you through one of the most difficult times the living can go through. We are not local to Park Ridge but that was not an issue, from the moment I had called Nelson Funeral Home he was the person I could turn to for answers and next steps, he was very understanding and was right there with us every step of the way.

We were so fortunate to have Eileen Baldeshwiler as our funeral director. She made the heartbreaking task much easier and was so gentle and caring and helped us every step of the way. I so appreciated her, she felt more like a family member. Such a sweet soul she has. The funeral home itself was lovely and they did an excellent job from the wake through to the funeral and the cemetery.
