While I've not dealt with the funeral side of it, they're listed as owners the Clovis cemetery. One look at that place sums up, I believe, their view of death and how much they care about families. Every time I see the cemetery, it's totally unkept. Tombstones falling apart, graves being covered over with debris and dirt, and some tombs being vandalized. Other reviews support what I'm seeing. So avoid these people if possible.

Muffley Funeral Home was a blessing for us. When my father passed away, the other funeral home in Clovis, NM removed the body from his house where he passed. My stepmom gave them my name and number as I was paying for the services . They refused to talk to me and tried to strong arm my stepmom and gave her a price that was extremely outrages. I called Muffley Funeral home and asked what their prices were, and they ended up being extremely more professional than the other funeral home and talked to both me and my stepmom, keeping all in the loop. The price ended up being less than half the price and they apologized for the other funeral home's unprofessionalism. They picked my father up from the other place and promptly prepared him. Anna Winslow was the director that worked with us and she is a very sweet and professional person to deal with. Thank you so much for making what was a stressful situation a pleasant situation in regards to getting my father taken care of.

The service was beautiful but after the fact.. another story. My grandfather passed away in a car accident and we chose muffley funeral home to make the arrangements. Staff was great they said they would handle the paperwork for the life insurance to pay for the funeral and everything was approved and we could move forward with services. After something happened with the insurance because they were still investigating the cause of the accident. Since he wasn't able to get it from the insurance IMMEDIATELY he stated calling my grieving grandmother and harassing her over the payment. We couldn't pay him out of pocket because the insurance paperwork had already been filed by them and if we paid them they would be getting paid twice. Once by us and once by insurance once the investigating was complete. He did end up getting his money from the insurance company like agreed but the unprofessionalism they showed towards a grieving wife was unexceptable. They had zero empathy over the situation. In people's most vulnerable time of need they really dropped the ball.
