I can not say enough good things about McVeigh. Dave, Brian and Sarah were all so helpful. I know this is their job and they do these things every day but they truly made this experience as easy as possible and made us feel genuinely cared for. They told me “we don’t say no to anything”. Every request was met with “of course” and money was barely mentioned unless brought up by us, the family. Our service was put together within 3 days. I really cannot thank them enough. The home itself was beautiful and everyone was so kind and professional. They even neatly collected all of our belongings from the service and allowed us to pick them up the day after. I’m beyond happy with our choice in McVeigh. As awful as it is to need a funeral home, there isn’t a better option in Albany, NY than McVeigh. Thank you all again, for everything.

Dave, Kristin and the staff at McVeigh did an exceptional job. The professional services and support provided to me and my family during a difficult time went above and beyond what was expected. My father had prearranged his funeral but there were still many decisions to be made. Skillfully and thoughtfully, they guided us along the way. I have attended many wakes and funerals over the years and McVeigh’s always stands out to me as the best.

David treated every aspect of my husband’s funeral with such compassion, dignity and professionalism. He went above and beyond to make sure all of the arrangements were carried out to my satisfaction- in fact they far surpassed any expectation I could have had! I felt very comforted in an incredibly stressful and emotional time for me knowing that everything was being taken care of by what was obvious to me a very competent, dedicated funeral director.
