My dad passed last August and we used McDonald's to handle things. That experience was great. Their people were caring and they took care of things. It felt like we had a partner in the process which helped during the VERY difficult time! Unfortunately, my mom recently joined my dad. We elected to use McDonald's again, based off how great they were last time. This time, it feels like we're hiring a contractor to build our house. Nothing but legal departments and paperwork. I'm CONSTANTLY having to reach out to them to find out what's going on, and I'll hear that they've been stuck on some piece of paperwork for days. It took over 3 WEEKS to get my mom's body cremated because of their delays in paperwork. That was SO HARD on the family, thinking of my mom's body decomposing in a freezer all that time. It's been over a month and we still don't have things processed. It really sucks to have to stress out over all of this when I should be able to focus on grieving. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would!

Unfortunately the Chapel was unable to locate a large (32"L x 22"W) spray of flowers, on a stand, to place at the memorial service for my sister. The flowers were delivered to the chapel half hour before the service but the employees failed to find this large floral spray in time for the service. Hard to miss an arrangement of this size. Disappointed and unhappy does not begin to cover how I feel about this screw up.

Very compassionate and caring people. They were amazing during my time of grief.
