My dad died unexpectedly with zero funeral planning. After 3 calls elsewhere feeling confused and unsure, Steve answered! I knew almost instantly this was where we would do the funeral. I never thought I'd be leaving a funeral home a review, but Steve and his staff were incredible. The inside is clean and attractive. The staff was considerate and professional. Thank you so much Steve for all of your help, your kidness, your patience, and understanding during such a difficult time.

Very disappointed in Steve Bones, called to request copies of death certificates, he advised that I needed to be next of kin, shared that I was the deceased son for 60+ years, he told me he would get back in touch with me. After 5 day and 2 phone calls with messages and an email to their business still no response back from Steve. Communications is simple and easy, if you care about those you are dealing with, unprofessional of Steve to treat a person who has just lost a loved one. After dealing with the owners of McDonal Linn, for the past 25 years, I wouldn't recommend this funeral home under new ownership. Update, McDonald-Linn funeral home was purchased by Anthony M Musmanno, hence the reason for the poor treatment from their funeral director. To date he has not had the courtesy to communicate with me after he volunteered and offered to handle my situation.

McDonald Linn funeral home handled my father in laws funeral in June 2018 and my mother in laws funeral in December 2019. Steve Bones and his associates are the people that you want to deal with if you ever have to plan a funeral, I guarantee it. They are calm, patient and extremely attentive during the services.
