Please take your loved ones anyplace but here. I would not bring my Labrador here. My mother wanted to be cremated which was arranged for here. We asked to come for last good byes to see her before cremation . My family and 95-year-old dad were walked down a hall, into an "Employees Only" section and then into a garage of parked cars and "Danger Formaldehyde" signs everywhere, and past the furnace in the garage, to a side room off the garage with bright lights and make-up strewn all over the counter. There laid my Mom. In the meantime, the entire property was empty and there were pleasant side rooms all over the place, with some chairs and soft light. It was the most un-caring and unprofessional experience we could have imagined. We had to move chairs away from the gurney in the tiny room to have my Dad be able to touch my Mom. We might as well have been in a back alley or abandoned warehouse someplace. I was shocked at the sterile, unprofessional approach to the simple matter of seeing a loved one for a last time. They didn't have the care or decency to simply wheel my mother into one of their many empty rooms. We were there maybe :20 minutes. It was an awful experience.

Charged me $1875.00 to cremate my dear mother! It was all about the price UPFRONT for these people, place is a JOKE! No empathy for a grieving only child, just where is the money?! Didn't even contact me when my mother was ready, I had to call THEM!! Go elsewhere for services for your loved ones, because these people do not care!

Limestone Chapel provides the best service around! They go above and beyond in a sorrowful time and make such a difficult process easier. They have helped my family with services and always provided the best experience. Beyond the professionalism they always provide to families, they are also great to work with as the owner of the local florist in Athens. They always work with me and my staff to determine the best time for family pieces to arrive, and they are always prompt in placing everything in the viewing rooms. Grateful for Greg and the entire staff!
