Used Kraft-Sussman 2 years ago for my wife's passing and used it again for my son's death. Very proper and am glad I used them again. Only complaint was the aquamation for the cremation was not available.

During a severely grief-ridden time, when it ought to be crucial for vendors--particularly those who actually work in the death industry--to deliver excellent customer service, my personal experience with this funeral home, and specifically the funeral director who was assigned to me, fell FAR below expectations. My mom passed away in Oregon. I reside in Washington. Her funeral was held in Oregon, but she was buried in Nevada with her second husband who had passed in 2003. This required me to hire two funeral homes and work with two funeral directors to handle the funeral and the burial separately in their respective states. I asked around for referrals to a Nevada funeral home, but came up empty, so ultimately relied upon Google reviews. BIG MISTAKE. EIGHT DAYS passed from when I initially called Kraft-Sussman until I actually spoke with my appointed funeral director, Mike. Over the course of the next SIX DAYS, he stated that he was affiliated with the incorrect business, told me to call the cemetery to get my questions answered (who refused to answer my questions, stating I would need my funeral director to call them), addressed me by the wrong name, and failed to send me ANY paperwork (which wasn’t even ALL the paperwork the cemetery required) until two days AFTER my mom’s body had arrived in Nevada and a mere three days before my family and I were flying to Nevada for the burial service. In the end, the one good thing (and why this review gets more than one star): My mom's body was delivered to the cemetery on the scheduled date and time. Everything else was a battle and added far more stress to my plate than there should have been, especially considering that they cost 75% of what I had paid the Oregon funeral home, who handled preparing and transporting my mom’s body, along with the amazing service by our Oregon funeral director, which included going above and beyond by interfacing MULTIPLE TIMES with Mike at Kraft-Sussman on my behalf. My advice: Choose a different funeral home in Nevada to care for the funeral, burial, and/or interment of your loved one.

I would recommend Kraft-Sussman to everyone who needed. They were all very compassionate, answered all our questions and kept us updated on the cremation process for our daughter. They cared for our sweet baby and you could 100% tell and feel the empathy. Great staff, great prices!
