I highly recommend Hughes Family Trubute Center. My mother's service was handled with compassion and dignity! They treated the family very well and asked for our input every step of the way.

If I could put a million stars I would!!!! I have never been to a service that was so personal or well organized!!! The entire Hughes staff was amazing! Kate was so loving and caring; her heartfelt attentiveness was second to none. All the extra you did to personalize Mark was so meaningful!!! Thank you all for the care and support you gave my family!!!!

Thanks for making our father's services the most wonderful Celebration of Life! Dad passed at 92 years old, and had a long and wonderful life. We met with Ryan Hughes and Kristine Hughes to make the arrangements, and they were so compassionate and really cared about making it an event to celebrate those 92 years. They offered brilliant ideas and suggestions and the results were amazing! In the lobby, there were various tables set up with momentos and photos representing different aspects of dad's life including his military service, his family, vacations, sports he enjoyed, and his love of cars, especially his favorite Datsun/Nissan Z Cars! The Hughes family even brought his favorite car INSIDE the chapel with dad! Thank you DeWayne Hughes and Stephanie Hughes! It fit through the doors with only an inch to spare. This family really goes above and beyond to help families! After the service, we used the reception area for lunch catered by El Fenix, which was dad's favorite. We then headed to the DFW national cemetery, where the Hughes family had arranged for motorcycle escorts, a procession of Z Cars, and full military honors, including the Honor Guard, military staff to fold and present the flag, a gun salute, and flags everywhere! No detail was overlooked! Dad would be so pleased! All of their meticulous and professional planning made a difficult time so much easier on us. We can not thank them enough for making it the most beautiful and perfect tribute to dad!

Calvary Hill Funeral Home
3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220
Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery was built on a foundation of faith, dignity and tradition. Calvary Hill Cemetery, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane in Northwest Dallas, was established in 1926 by Bishop Joseph Patrick Lynch when it became apparent that Calvary Cemetery (on Hall St.) was no longer adequate to serve the needs of the growing Catholic community in Dallas. The new cemetery, which includes the original Letot family cemetery, was dedicated on All Souls Day in 1929. When Calvary Hill Cemetery opened, a Priests' Circle was established for the interment of members of the clergy and many were relocated from Old Calvary. In 1966, the first of several mausoleums was dedicated by Bishop Thomas K. Gorman, including a chapel for committal services and reflection. In 2009, the remains of former Bishops of Dallas were entombed in the chapel. In 1998, the Diocese contracted with Christian Funeral Services, Inc., an affiliate of Service Corporation International, to operate this cemetery (and the other thee diocesan cemeteries) for the Diocese. In 2002, Calvary Hill Funeral Home was built adjacent to the cemetery. The facility features four staterooms, a hospitality room, a comfortable chapel that will seat 150 people and cemetery offices.
