After a 3 year battle with brain cancer, my husband and I had to lay our youngest baby to rest. We knew we wanted him close to home. We assumed we would have guidance and assistance in burial plot planning when we went to Arlington Park Cemetery, unfortunately that was not the case. We decided we wanted to go ahead and purchase 3 plots so we can lay to rest next to our baby when our time came. We found a private seller selling one plot and we tried to figure out a way to purchase 2 plots through them, on either side of our son, and they made everything seem impossible and not doable. After 5 days of getting the car salesman pitch, change of prices, secret manager meetings while we sat in a room waiting on answers and the run around at Arlington Parks Cemetery, my husband and i walked out.. After being totally fed up and running out of time, we found Greenlawn. We actually found a private seller selling 4 plots. We went to the office at Greenlawn on Monday afternoon, not knowing what to expect. Not only did they greet us with genuine love and compassion, they did everything they could to make sure the private sale would go through as fast as possible so we could finally put our baby to rest. This was 30 minutes before closing time on Monday. Tuesday afternoon, we met with the private sellers (4 of them on the contract) and within an hour or so we were the new owners of the 4 plots. Evan was extremely genuine and made sure the burial was perfect. Mariah worked hand in hand with Evan and whatever they said, they did. Never once did they go back on their word. Never once did we feel like there was something going on behind our backs. Never once did we feel like they were trying to sell us something. Yall have got to understand that they did this for free basically!!! They never made anything more than the $250 transfer fee!!! But they treated us with the upmost respect and were 100% honest, efficient, and everything was done with such professionalism. They turned a nightmare situation, into a breath of fresh air. Evan and Mariah have been outstanding. The property is so beautiful and the landscaping is well kept. They actually back up what they say!!! My husband and I are just so extremely grateful for their amazing customer service, efficiency, integrity, honesty, sincerity and love throughout this horrible situation we were handed. They made it smooth and easy, they accomadated our every need and want. We were able to bury our baby that same Friday, only 3 days after the transfer of title. Just absolutely a joy to work with. I thank God for guiding us to finding Greenlawn Cemetery and I will refer all family and friends to come here. Hands down. I would give them 100 stars if I could. During a difficult time, my sister and I had a great experience working with Lisa and Mary Ann at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn. They were very caring and compassionate. During a category 1 hurricane, the staff went out of their way to ensure the memorial service proceeded …… although the situation was very overwhelming, they helped to make it less stressful. They showed a level of care and concern that you would not expect unless you were a family member. They took our concerns and implemented a plan that was more than satisfactory for our family. They truly went above and beyond!

Greenlawn Cemetery management and staff was so professional, patient, knowledgeable, thoughtful and thorough in the handling and communication with me and my daughter of my husband’s funeral. Awesome job. Thank you so much. God Bless You All
