Losing someone you love is very difficult and our family lost our mother and then our father within a span of 11 months. Kathy and the staff were wonderful with us and very helpful. Kathy came in the middle of a snow storm to pick up our father´s body the day he passed away showing her dedication to her clients and her concern for the feelings of those who just lost a loved one. I understand that some have complained about being rushed but their is set time to begin and end the wake and sometimes people overextend the time they spend especially with large crowds. Besides my parents I have been to countless funerals in the Gerorge M Holt Funeral home and I have never had a bad experience which is why it is the preferred funeral home for our extended family.

Horrible, last month I went to a double funeral and witnessed how Kathy was telling a son/brother and other family members of the corpses to clear the place and get out, so more people could pay their respects. Sorry, but they need to be a little more sensitive with family members in such difficult moments. Imagine having two deaths in your family and not being able to say a properly goodbye.

When we lose someone we love, our experience with our grieving process greatly impacts our healing from a loss. I was here to say goodbye to a friend whom I considered family.
