I can not thank Maryanne and her partner enough for all that they've done for my family and I in the past few weeks. I like to be thorough so I researched, called, and visited every single funeral home in Rockland County, and even though this has been one of the most difficult times in my life, I feel reassured because I know I made the right decision by choosing Grey Harbor. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first because of the size and location, but from the first moment we met, Maryanne put our minds at ease, answered all of my and my family's questions, took the time to help us understand what comes next and helped guide us through our grief. My mother who passed was of LDS faith, and of darker complexion, and Grey Harbor made it a priority to accommodate our particular needs, not only with regards to her faith but in every aspect related to her passing. There was never any pressure, and no sales pitch like so many other places, they truly want the best for those that they service and they will be honest if they do not think it is the right fit. Everything was taken care of, from services, transportation, viewing, cards, paperwork and more. Communication was effortless and they are always available. If you're looking for an open, honest, genuine, compassionate, and extremely affordable funeral home you needn't look anywhere else. Grey Harbor and Maryanne are the best Rockland County (and farther) have to offer and I can only hope more choose to take advantage of their spectacular services.
