I was very impressed with Garner Funeral Home during our time of loss following my mom's recent death. Their compassion began when Randy Roark picked up her body at the hospital. He led us in a prayer for comfort before he left the room. We were made welcome and at ease from the first minute we walked into the door to make the final arrangements. This continued through the funeral and then the graveside service. Tom Garner was thorough and patient as he walked us through the details that needed to be covered. They went out of their way to make the process as easy as possible. Tom and the entire staff were professional in everything they did for us. I can highly recommend using their services.

Honestly I wish I could give them zero stars. Today we laid my grandmother to rest and it was a horrible experience. Primarily because the funeral director decided to take my sister and her 18 yr old daughter out the night before and get them both so drunk that they were unable to attend the service and they were late bringing my grandmother to the cemetery by about 15 minutes. So unprofessional!!! He showed up hungover and even sat down while we waited for my sister to arrive and when we finally realized that she wasn't coming they allowed us to start the service at this time it was 30 minutes late. Would not recommend anyone to use their services ever. Just appalled. My grandmother deserved more respect then that.
