The care, concern and professionalism I experienced in planning my brother's service and burial at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home and Cemetery gave me great comfort and peace in the midst of shock and grief. The service we had for my dad was lovely and the grounds are well kept. My only complaint is that my father past in 2019 (over 3 years ago) and still doesn’t have year of death on his tombstone. I have gone inside 3 times to ask for them to put up 2019 on his stone and they apologized and said they would get on that right away. Went yesterday and still nothing :-( it’s hard to move forward.

The passing of a loved one is never an easy experience to face, especially a beloved mother. It doesn’t matter of the age, you have to plan for the inevitable. Our experience with Garden Sanctuary began with a phone call from funeral director Peri Craven. Through the phone she had the ability to calm the unsettled emotions that come from the experience of a loved one passing. The next day we walked through the doors at Garden Sanctuary and met Peri. She felt like an old friend that we hadn’t seen in a while. With a warm hug and a gentle voice saying, “it’s all going to be ok”, she made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We knew immediately that we were in good hands. She made sure that all the planning of the pre-plan services were in place. She guided us in the planning of a beautiful farewell to our mother. Every detail was perfectly done. Her amazing staff showed as much compassion and kindness as Peri. We opted to have the visitation catered and the Stuff Mushroom, which out did themselves in the presentation of the foods. Peri and her staff are a rarity to find in these days that we live. We can’t say enough about our experience with Peri. When you are faced with the inevitable, we will highly recommend Peri and her staff at Gardening Sanctuary. You will not be disappointed!!! Thank you Peri for everything you did to make this experience painless and seamless. It truly meant so much to us.
