If I could give them a zero I would. I dealt with the manager derick and it was a nightmare. I had my gf cremated there, there was never any communication. Since we weren't married her children had to sign off. It took 2 weeks to do that. I thought it was the kids that were holding things up, actually it was derick. I asked about helping with an obituary, he said he would help and he did not. I needed a keepsake urn for a close friend, he said he would email me samples, he did not. It took over 3 weeks to get the keepsake urn. Derick never communicated with me. I left messages and then he emailed, so I thought email would be an easier way of communication, nope. I sent 8 emails before he informed me he had covid and had been sick. Even if they was true it would not prohibit him from returning an email. I'm a salesperson and he is the worst kind, someone who overpromises and does none of it. In the end he had other reps call me to so I could finally get my keepsake urn. If he communicated with me everything would be fine, but he did not do so. I'll tell everyone I know about this horrible experience. Go elsewhere.

If you come to an unfortunate circumstance of having to burry a loved one, DO NOT use Forest Lawn West Funeral and Cremation Service. They have been nothing but rude and liars. My mama was buried August 16 and we were told that we had monument privileges. Within a week they were calling asking what my dad was going to do about a headstone or marker. I called for 3 days asking for Shelly who is supposedly over the graveside part of the business. I have left many messages to have her call me back and yet here it is a week and a half later, still haven’t gotten a call. I asked for the manager to call me also and would you believe me when I say still haven’t gotten a call back from him either. On Friday I finally got in touch with somebody named Carmelo and the lies started flowing then. When talking to Carmelo to see what was allowed we were given the run around. We want a single upright monument on her plot. I explained that the second plot is not someone with the same last name therefore a double monument wouldn’t work. He then tells me he would look into it and give me a call back. Well he did, and told me there was a paper that needed to be signed by the owner of the plot giving permission for a SINGLE upright monument to be placed. When the individuals got there to sign the document that is when Carmelo told them that he never said a single monument could be placed and that I was lying. I explained then why did you call me back to tell me about a paper to be signed, if that isn’t the case. All in all this is a terrible company to work with and I deeply hope this helps someone in the future when faced with the decisions when it comes to burrying a loved one.

I am deeply disappointed by the neglect of my grandmother's grave site at this funeral home. Twice we have seen tire tracks and footprints on top of the grave. This time there was missing sentimental decor and flowers which is unacceptable. This blatant disregard for the sanctity of the burial ground is not only disrespectful to the memory of our loved one but also deeply distressing for those of us who visit to pay our respects.
