So the building itself smells old and mildewed. I was left with a very bad headache from the incense they were using to try to cover it up. Just losing your loved one and having to face their paperwork, it's a bad reminder of decay. The lady that helped us through our paperwork was amazing. 5 stars for that. But the follow through left me very void because you see my Dad was my hero. My everyday call. I helped him through his death and was in a horrible state of shock. All I wanted was something tangible to keep his essence with me. I requested a locket of his hair before he was cremated. We wanted to lay him to rest right away out of respect. We had his funeral a week to the day after his passing at the VA cemetery. I hadn't heard anything for a month or so about his locket of hair. I brushed it and soothed him while he passed and I wanted to make a memory locket because I could stand the idea of peicing out his ashes. Well I was told I'd get a call back, never did. I had to chase down the person who helped us and was told a college finished up my Dad's affairs. Turns out the screwed up, they never took the locket of hair and he was cremated so it was gone. I couldn't afford the $280 thumb print necklace they sold, and I feel like this detail they missed that was so important to me, didn't seem that important to them. At first they apologized and said they were going to make it right. Then they back peddled that over several weeks, almost a month and I never heard from them again. My Dad was a wonderful man. I feel so lost without him and the sting of not getting that locket haunts me everyday.

Evergreen did a wonderful job for my moms memorial. We had some changes that we had to make with her memorial package and they were very accommodating. We have had two experiences with Evergreen now and we were always listened to and they always got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Evergreen Memorial Gardens is a beautiful place to visit. They keep the grounds very nice and when I do visit it is a peaceful place to go.

Tyson was fantastic! Joy was just as fantastic! Very professional staff and helped us overcome one little hiccup and still gave our mom a very beautiful funeral and final goodbye. Even the grounds crew were extremely professional and respectful. Highly recommended.
