Last month, (Sept. 2024) I contacted Eternal Hills to finalize arrangements for myself and my partner, when the time comes. My space had been pre selected in the Garden of the Last Supper Urn Garden several years ago. I was connected to Patty Smith, one of your counselors. I explained to her my wishes and relayed to her that I now live out of state. She helped me out so much.....from finding out if two urns could be accommodated, the engraving on the marker. I explained my son would bring our ashes to Oceanside, where we both are originally from at the appropriate time. Patty let me know via phone and email about cost, procedure, etc. She returned all my inquiries promptly, courteously and put my mind at rest. I just want to give her "pat on the back" for helping me ....and that she is a very nice person.

The viewing & funeral service was fine. However, when working out the specifics I felt like a number and I felt like there was zero compassion from the staff. When the Marines at Quantico told me they have had issues with Eternal Hills in the past I agreed with them. I would never recommend that place to anyone. The costs are too high for opening & closing, especially when most of the costs were prepaid. It’s been over 3 weeks and I still do not the death certificate from that place.

Unfortunately no one should go through this.. but I’m glad we chose Eternal hills for our baby boy to be cared and cremated at. Jennifer and Maria were a huge help throughout the process, we didn’t know where to go or what to do especially when we have no family out here. But Jennifer explained everything to us and were very kind. No one was a pushy seller that wanted your money.. compared to other places that I talked to. They have genuine care that they provided which made a huge impact on us and we’re forever thankful for them to help us. Thank you for taking care of our sweet baby boy and showing him that he is loved and cared as well. The communication that Jennifer had with us was 10/10! She talked to us as if we were family genuine care and sympathy for us. As well keeping us in the loop throughout this whole thing. Which really relieved us, especially me once we knew our sweet boy was in their care. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts you made this hard time a bit easier for our family and I’m glad you were there to help & support us during this hard time.
