Reilly Orlando and James Soviero at Elmont Funeral Home were incredibly kind and understanding during my grandmother's wake. They went above and beyond by helping us, they even helped us secure an urn for my grandfather in less than two days. Their compassion and efficiency made a difficult time much easier for our family. I want to take a minute to say ty to Joe from the Elmont Funeral Home. In such a devastating time in my life, where I felt totally lost and even forgot how to use a pen, Joe was there to take the pen and fill out all the paperwork that needed to be filled out. He was so patient and understanding with everything. He made us feel like family. Such a kind and sweet man. I have been to other funeral homes and my biggest fear was that my husband wouldn't look the way I remembered him. Thanks to Joe and his team, I was able to say goodbye to a familiar face. The details of the funeral was beautiful and I can only hope they can understand the gratitude I have. This is definitely the place to say goodbye to your loved one before they go home to be with their "Father" in Heaven.
