Winter Oaks Funeral Home made a horrible, unbearable situation seem less frightening and overwhelming. I knew that my loved one was being handled with dignity and care. They drove nearly 4 hours away, with just a moment's notice, to pick up my son. Additionally, they kindly took special care to enable our immediate family to have a private visitation as quickly as possible. They were respectful and did not try to "sell" us anything. Our service was as perfect as a service could be. I will forever remember the kindness and professionalism of the staff. We made several phone calls to the facility prior to and after the service and all of our calls were handled with compassion. Though the prices were for the budget conscious, the service and facility was not. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the staff and owners of Winter Parks Funeral Home.

Winter oak and there team did such a great job for my family. We lost my little brother and they responded so quickly, took such good care of him. It was a holiday weekend and they responded quickly and Caringly. We never felt rushed, the staff answeeed all our phone calls and emails and dealt w our emotions in a great way! We were so grateful for winter oak’s. The also had the most fair price point , we had our own priest come in and they were even impressed with the cost and the establishment. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a final goodbye from your loved ones.

If I could give zero stars I would. The workers there were quite possibly the most callous and unprofessional I’ve ever seen. My friend was having a very hard time with the loss of her son and she required a lot of support including having the ambulance being called. While I understand that this may have been unsettling for the workers, this is their line of business and they should have handled the situation with a lot more care. The attendees were literally told to quickly look at the body, not say anything to my friend and to leave the building quickly. They were saying, “she knows you love her. She’s having a hard time. Now quickly leave.” I’ve never seen anything like it. The coldness and rolling of the eyes was unsettling to say the least. Not to mention our friend had specifically asked for some of us to come earlier than the rest for a private viewing and we were not allowed in even after trying to explain that she requested us there and we could probably help to calm her down and provide her with much needed support during her very difficult time. It was to the point where the male worker had a power struggle with one of us, literally pushing him so he couldn’t enter the doors. The absolute worst treatment during an already difficult time.
