Baldwin-Fairchild in Winter Garden provided great support during an extremely difficult time. In particular, my interactions with William, Becky and Monika were understanding and compassionate. This was my first time going through the funeral arrangement process and they were able to address my questions and concerns very well. Although we did not have a formal service, the location is great and I was able to setup a viewing of my dad and they did a real incredible job allowing that to happen and to see my dad one last time. I hope others going through the awful experience of losing a loved one will read this review and reach out to William/Becky because you will be in good hands.

Baldwin-Fairchild Winter Garden was awesome to work with. The Funeral Director Connie was superb!! Such a caring and compassionate group that met all our needs for a beautiful and very personal service for my mother. I was amazed how they listened to our family talk about her likes, hobbies, and character then put those into displays that honored her. She was prepared so beautifully and I know my mother would have been very proud of her lovely service. The staff was very professional and the prices of our selections were reasonable. We have used Baldwin-Fairchild for our family for over 40 years and they remain the best.

My mom was at Hospice Care before she passed on March 7, 2021. She was the last living relative I had. We had a bond, being that I was her only child. I took my mom’s passing as the most devastating moment of my entire life. And when I found out how my mom was cremated, I took it as another big hit in my already sensitive emotional state. The people here did not console me in person. Instead a woman who obviously did not like White people handed me my moms ashes in a cardboard box, as if I was in a McDonald’s drive through picking up food in a brown bag and driving away. I have never felt so horrible in my entire life until I experienced this type of unprofessionalism. Like most of us, we don’t know where we are really going after death. And knowing and experiencing seeing and hearing ghosts, knowing that some spirits are stuck living a unpleasant part of their lives over and over again or confused and don’t know where their at or how to go towards the light, bothers me a great deal. These experiences leave me questioning. Is my mom stuck in her death state in hospice? In her death state did she see or feel herself be cremated? I would have rather picked up my mom’s body and driven to a beautiful forest and laid her in my lap as I pulled the trigger to end my own life, just so I could be with her in the afterlife. I couldn’t afford a funeral, nobody gave a eulogy, nobody consoled me, nobody did nothing besides treat me like a customer, instead of a person. I hope these people get the same treatment I received, it would be appropriately fitting. I do not and will never recommend them to anyone.
