I would recommend Marty Byars services at Cremation Society of Georgia in Atlanta to whomever is in need. My encounter with Marty was amazing. The kindness and compassion he showed my family and I was beyond words. I instantly knew my son was in good hands. I am greatly appreciative for his services.

My dear husband recently passed away unexpectedly. This has been a traumatic experience for my family and I. The wonderful team of the Cremation Society of Georgia, however, made this part of my husband's affairs so easy. Constant contact, quick replies, and also very caring. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Very unprofessional. They gave my dads ashes and death certificates away to his sister, ( my aunt) she had been going behind my back trying to handle my dad’s affairs doing underhanded stuff out of spite, they said I signed saying that they could release the ashes to a family member or authorized representative ok I get the legal aspect of it but that was totally unprofessional not to contact me to see if it was ok considering I paid and I’m next of kin. They acted like I was invisible and kept saying that his sister was keeping in touch they acted like I wasn’t calling them and inquiring about what was going on but I know what happened, they dealt with her before and she befriended them. Professionalism is top tier for me. And they failed BIG TIME, I would not recommend or use them again AT ALL.
