Shane and all the people I spoke with during the process & the complete of my Uncle’s Jerry Smith cremation plus any other things like the documents or questions I may have had were absolutely wonderful. My husbands family had the worst experience with this funeral home. Carl is very rude and truly lacks any empathy for grieving families, and it’s clear he is just there to profit off of sadness. On the day of the service, the flowers we ordered were not displayed. When we asked him about it he passed blame on to the flower shop. The only effort he made to remedy the situation was to give some story about how the flower shop sent them last weekend and then forgot to send new ones for the service today. It sounds like Carl dropped the ball on getting new ones ordered, if he even ordered them at all. We’ll see if a refund gets issued in a timely manner. He also made several mistakes with names including on the Death Certificate and when asked about it he said ‘it doesn’t matter. As long as the first and last name are right.’ I would caution anyone against using this business. Edited to add that Carl spent time talking to the guests about me, including to my sister in law, because I had the audacity to stick up for family. That is super unprofessional especially since you didn’t deliver on your end of the services we paid you to do.
