Clark County Funeral Services treated my Father as though he was an A-List Celebrity. Everything was impeccably done and with great care. The chapel is beautiful and the lounging area for families to gather is outfitted with plush leather seating, bottle water, TV monitor and Jukebox with a huge music catalog. I also appreciated them allowing our viewing to take place during after hours. Clark County Funeral Services is the only funeral home I will ever utilize in Las Vegas, Nevada moving forward. Their prices are very economical and they will go out of their way to ensure your beloved loved one is handled with great care and dignity. As well as your needs and concerns are met.

Clark County Funeral service made my experience the worst one could ever have. In the beginning service was good, but once they received payment, they dropped the ball on getting my daughters remains shipped to me and their level of service. I had to go out of my way and keep emailing and calling them to see when everything was going to be delivered, because when they got payment they were supposed to send her remains the next day. After waiting a week I reached out yet again, and Sheila (the initial point of contact) told me she was out sick and she would arrange for someone else to handle the shipment etc... Almost a month later... It took me contacting them again for the hundredth time to get answers. After I was passed around from the owner Marlon Williams, who told me to call the office where someone was supposed to be waiting for my call to resolve everything... I spoke with a staff worker Tatum ( I’m not sure if that is the correct name) whom told me to call back at a later time because he was sleeping and the office wasn’t open and that the owner shouldn’t be telling people to call when he doesn’t know the hours. This guy was very unprofessional, bashing the owner saying he doesn’t know what he is talking about and how the owner lives in Texas and doesn’t know the hours etc... and also that everyone is mad with Sheila (the initial point of contact) because she dropped the ball on 10 other families that were enraged at the lack of service. No client should hear an employee rant about their frustration when they just lost a loved one, a child no less! When I called back, I had to repeat everything yet again as to what was supposed to have been done and included. When I set up services with Sheila, an obituary was promised to me with all the information I filled out and the pictures I sent, but the person I finalized everything with (Tatum) told me that they don’t offer obituaries and they would not do it!! This funeral home needs to get their act together and give correct information, instead of putting a grieving mother through hell of having to constantly repeat something so unbearable as well as be on the same page with expectations and professionalism. I am highly dissatisfied with the level of service or lack there of after they secured payment. The lack of empathy and communication blows my mind. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES! In response to Sheila's response on behalf of Clark County Family services... it boggles my mind how you have the strength to respond to my review, yet you could not arrange someone to handle services for my daughter in your absence, had you done so, we would not be having this conversation. Also, you did not have to "hold" the process of my daughters cremation because you were still waiting for the permits and death certificate while I was trying to find someone to perform an autopsy. It is foolish to even think of having someone that is grieving to have to call around to check other pricings when you gave me the run down of all the charges upfront with no mention of a storage fee etc... So further more, if you wanted the money up front that could have been handled, so do not act like there should have been additional charges because nothing went passed the time you received the permits. So once again, I will reiterate that once payment was made, you dropped the ball. I understand you became ill, but that was 2 weeks after I paid for everything, leaving you plenty of time to take care of the shipping of my daughters remains. Lastly, when someone becomes ill there should be a back up plan to take care of things when someone is out of the office, especially pertaining to a matter like this.

This place was horrible to work with! It took us over a month to get my father's remains. They also tried to get us to pay $750 more on top of everything else we paid to have him "moved to the front of the line" at the crematorium. Gave us the run-around for weeks. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!
